The Roomzy web interfaces are subject to the privacy policy (the "Policy"). This Policy explains how Roomzy gathers, utilizes, preserves, and distributes personal data about you (the "user," "you," or "your"). This data is obtained as a result of your access to and use of the Site. This information might consist of, but is not restricted to, any data you post, emails you send and receive from Roomzy and other site users, and any other data you submit or give Roomzy.
We are dedicated to making sure you are informed of how your information is being used since we understand how important your privacy is. To fully understand how we gather and utilize your information, please carefully read this Policy. Our Terms of Use also apply to your use of the Site. You agree that the information you reveal on the Site will be collected and used in accordance with this Policy by using the Site and/or by giving us your information.
You indicate your permission and agreement to the terms of Roomzy's Policy as stated here by using the Site's services, visiting, accessing, and/or browsing it.
Additionally, you guarantee that the data you have provided is accurate, truthful, and lawful and does not break any laws. If there are any infractions, infringements, or unapproved or incorrect information provided, Roomzy won't be held accountable to you or any other party.

C. Information that is necessary for the payment related services
In addition to the previously specified groups mentioned in Section II: We obtain the following categories of information from you (collectively referred to as "Information") under Sub-Sections A, B, and C above.
"Personally Identifiable Information" refers to data, such as your name, email address, age, gender, IP address, and other such information, that could be used to identify you;
"Sensitive Personal Information" includes encrypted passwords and protected banking and payment-related data;
“Non-Personal Information” - information that cannot be used to identify you such as the webpages that you have viewed and your usage patterns; and
(iv) “Device Information”- information which is automatically collected about the device from which the Site is used.
Information you provide Roomzy to enable your use of the Account/Site
When you use the Site, we request and gather the following Sensitive Personal Information and Personally Identifiable Information about you. This information is required for us to fulfill our legal requirements and to carry out the terms of our agreement with you. We might not be able to deliver you all the services you have asked for without it.
Account Information
You may be required to register a Roomzy user account (the "Account"), which will include your user profile (the "Profile"), in order to enjoy certain features on the Site. We require you to provide certain Personally Identifiable information when you choose to create such an account and sign or click "I Accept" in relation to the creation of an account. Information you choose to give us
You may choose to provide us with additional Personally Identifiable Information in order to obtain a better user experience when using Roomzy.
Additional Profile Information
As part of your profile, you have the option to add further Personally Identifiable Information, such as your preferred language or languages, city, and a personal description. A portion of this data, as specified in your account settings, is included in your public profile page and will be accessible to the public.
Address Book Contact Details
To use some of the Roomzy's features, you can either manually enter the contact information for your contacts or import it from your address book.
Other Information
In addition, you have the option to give us information when you use the Site's various features and capabilities, fill out forms, search, update or add information to your account, reply to surveys, post in community forums, take part in promotions, and so on.
Information that is necessary for the payment related services
The following sensitive personal information must be gathered by Roomzy in order to properly carry out its obligations to you and to abide by applicable laws (such as those pertaining to anti-money laundering). You won't be able to utilize Roomzy's online payment services without it:
Payment Information

These include payment services, utilities and living-related services (such as water, laundry, and mobility), and specially selected community apps. For instance, service providers who help us with: (i) confirming your identity or validating identification documents; (ii) cross-referencing information with publicly accessible databases; (iii) conducting police or background checks, preventing fraud, and risk assessment; (iv) carrying out product development, software and website maintenance and debugging;(v) permit the provision of Roomzy services through third-party platforms and software tools (e.g., through the integration with our APIs); (vi) offer customer support, advertising, or payment services. These service providers are contractually obligated to secure your information and use it only for the reasons for which it was disclosed and in accordance with this Policy. They have access to your information to the extent necessary to carry out these duties on our behalf. If you post content in a forum or network that is accessible to members of the curated networks of Roomzy tenants, users, and staff, such as blog comments, social networking posts, images, or other content, other members of those networks will be able to read it.

Third parties in connection with any financing, purchase of all or a portion of Roomzy or any business owned by the Roomzy group, merger, sale of corporate assets, consolidation or restructuring, or other transaction in which information held by it about you may be one of the transferred assets.
Please take note that, in accordance with current data protection legislation, adequate safeguards will be in place to protect your personally identifiable information and sensitive personal information when we disclose it. We occasionally provide information that has been aggregated, pseudonymized,and/or anonymized so that it is not reasonably possible to link it to a specific person.
Purposes for which we use your Information
correspondence or other contact with you in relation to your use of the Site or Account registration; confirmation of your account; ensuring that the Site's content is displayed for you and your device in the best possible way;
if you have given permission to be contacted for such purposes, to send you newsletters, information, goods, or services that you request from us and that we believe may be of interest to you;
to inform you of modifications to the Terms of Use, this Policy, or the Site; in an effort to analyze your usage habits;

We may profile you in relation to the aforementioned activities based on your interactions with Roomzy, the data you submit for your profile and other material, and information we receive from third parties. If automated processes identify any conduct that we believe puts Roomzy, other users, or third parties at risk for safety or other reasons, we may, in certain circumstances, restrict or suspend access to the Site.

DATA SECURITY
Subject to disclosure in line with this Policy and the Terms of Use, the information you submit will be kept safe and secure. Roomzy or third-party owned secure servers equipped with firewalls are used to store Roomzy's databases and information.
Roomzy disclaims any liability for the transmission of information, including information you supply to Roomzy, due to the nature of online transactions. You bear all liability for any information you transmit over the internet. Roomzy disclaims all liability in the event that you or any other person violates the site's security or privacy settings.
Roomzy does not guarantee or provide any representations that the security measures are sufficient, safe, impenetrable, or foolproof, even though it will make every attempt to ensure that your information is secure.
You understand that, as a registered user, it is your responsibility to keep your account secure, including your passwords and login information, and that you shouldn't give these details to any other parties. By using your Account login credentials, you understand that you are accountable for all actions taken. If you fail to keep your account credentials secure, Roomzy will not be held liable if someone else gains access to your account.

Your Rights
Managing Your Information
Your Account settings allow you to view and amend your Personally Identifiable or Sensitive Personal Information. Please be aware that utilizing your Account to connect to third-party applications is not an option. Note that you do not have the right to request that any Non-Personal, Device Information, or Usage Information be deleted; instead, Roomzy retains the right to preserve such information.
If Roomzy determines that any information must be changed in order to comply with applicable laws, it has the only authority to approve or disapprove the modification.
Data Retention and Erasure
We keep your information for as long as it's necessary for us to fulfill our duties to you and/or as long as needed by law. But, there can be situations where we have to keep your personal data longer (such in the case of a disagreement or if you file a claim over a reservation). Your Personally Identifiable Information may be kept by us if it is required for our legitimate business purposes, which include improving safety and preventing fraud. Even if your account is deactivated, information you have shared with others (such as reviews and forum posts) can still be accessible to the public on the website.
International Privacy Rights
The servers that power Roomzys's websites and/or databases may be situated and run in several legal jurisdictions. By using and accessing the Site, you agree that your information, including personally identifiable information and sensitive personal information, may be processed and transferred to servers that may be located in a different jurisdiction than you are, and that the level of protection for this information may differ from what is required by local laws.
Age restrictions
Only users who meet the legal requirements to enter into contracts are allowed to use the site. You must not submit any Personally Identifiable Information or Sensitive Personal Information if you are under the legal age of majority. Roomzy may remove such information without providing you with notice if it comes to its understanding that it relates to a person who is not legally entitled to enter into contracts.
Amendments to the Policy
Changes to this Policy may be made at Roomzy's sole discretion. A message on the main page will be used to notify users of any changes to the Policy.
